Oh so Good Marinara Sauce
- 2 celery ribs, finely chopped
- 2 carrots, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (18 ounce) can tomato paste
- 18 ounces water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 beef bouillon cube, crushed
- salt and pepper
- 1 dash garlic salt
- extra virgin olive oil
- Pour extra virgin olive oil in large pot until bottom is covered.
- Saute garlic and onions in oil until onions are slighted browned.
- Add carrots, celery, and salt and pepper.
- Saute until veggies are soft.
- Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, water, and bay leaf.
- Stir until combined.
- Add crushed bouillon cube and garlic salt.
- Let simmer 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Discard bay leaf.
- Serve!
