Creamy Bolognese Penne Bake
- 1/2 cup Philadelphia Herb & Garlic Cream Cheese Product
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 3 cups penne pasta, uncooked
- 1/2 lb. extra-lean ground beef King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2-1/2 cups Classico di Napoli Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
- 1 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Mix cream cheese product and milk until blended.
- Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, brown meat with vegetables in large nonstick skillet on medium heat.
- Add cream cheese mixture, pasta sauce and 1/2 cup mozzarella; cook and stir 2 to 3 min.
- or until mozzarella is completely melted.
- Drain pasta.
- Add to meat mixture; mix lightly.
- Spoon into 2-L casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with remaining mozzarella.
- Cover.
- Bake 15 min.
- or until heated through, uncovering after 10 min.
