Baked Pork Chops In Mushroom Burgundy Recipe
- 2 x 6-ounce pork chops
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 x Chopped onion
- 1 c. Sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. Flour
- 3/4 c. Burgundy
- 1 x Egg yolk beaten
- 2 Tbsp. Lowfat sour cream
- 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
- Saute/fry pork in butter till brown, remove from skillet and place in shallow buttered baking dish.
- Saute/fry onion and mushrooms, sprinkle with flour and salt and pepper.
- Blend in burgundy till thickened.
- Pour over pork, cover.
- Bake 350 degree oven 1 hour or possibly simmer med heat 45 minutes.
- Remove pork and keep hot.
- Blend into sauce the egg yolk, lowfat sour cream and lowfat milk.
- Cook and stir without boiling till thickened.
- Pour over pork.
