Golden Scalloped Oysters

  1. Melt butter in 4 cup casserole dish.
  2. Add crumbs, stir and remove 1/3 for topping.
  3. Stir in mushrooms; mix well and remove 1/2 of mixture.
  4. Spread remaining mushroom/crumb mixture over bottom of casserole.
  5. Spoon oysters on top.
  6. Spread reserved mushroom/crumb mixture over oysters.
  7. Spoon sour cream over mixture (try not to distrub mixture).
  8. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
  9. Can be cooked now or refrigerated and cooked later.
  10. Bake, uncovered, 350 F 25 or 30 min until top is golden brown.
