Classic Meat Lasagna

  1. Saute onion and garlic in Crisco shortening or Crisco oil in large skillet on medium heat until soft.
  2. Push to one side of skillet.
  3. Add meat.
  4. Crumble and cook.
  5. Drain, if necessary.
  6. Add tomatoes.
  7. Break into smaller pieces.
  8. Add tomato paste, basil, oregano, sugar and pepper.
  9. Simmer 30 minutes.
