C&H Sugar'S Hawaiian Pork Casserole

  1. In a 2-quart casserole, brown the cubed pork in the oil and sprinkle with soy sauce.
  2. Drain the pineapple (save syrup) and add to the meat mixture.
  3. Mix syrup and vinegar and heat.
  4. Mix sugar, cornstarch and water and add to hot liquid, cooking until clear and thickened.
  5. Pour over meat mixture.
  6. Cover and bake 20 minutes at 350u0b0.
  7. Cook green pepper and onion in the butter (add shredded carrots for color).
  8. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  9. Add to casserole and bake 10 minutes longer.
