Pralines Chocolate Tart

  1. Follow Steps 1 through 9 of the Tart Dough recipe,to make pate sucree (you can bake it ahead of time).
  2. Make half of the Caramel Praline recipe,(or you can omit it).
  3. Make the brownie dough...
  4. Combine and sift the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  5. Warm the milk.
  6. Add the chocolate, butter, and rum to a bowl and melt by immersing in hot water.
  7. Preheat your oven to 170C.
  8. In a separate bowl, add the eggs, granulated sugar, and warmed milk and mix together using a whisk.
  9. Add Step 5 to 4 a little at a time.
  10. Mix until glossy.
  11. Sift the powdered ingredients again and add to Step 6.
  12. Mix together.
  13. Pour into the pan, and top with the caramel praline you made in Step 2.
  14. Heat in the oven at 170 C for about 25 minutes.
  15. (If you pre-baked the tart dough in Step 1, then bake for 15 minutes).
  16. Garnish and it's complete.
  17. Cutting it up into sticks is not just easy to eat, but also cute.
