clams with sundried tomatoes
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp fresh basil
- 2 tbsp sliced sundried tomatoes
- 1 pepper
- 1 red pepper flake
- 1 salt
- 3/4 cup white wine
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 lb little neck clams
- saute butter, clams,tomatoes pinch of red pepper flake and garlic till garlic starts to brown
- cooking over med heat add wine and reduce till all clams open and broth is reduced by half
- finish with chopped fresh basil and also use as garnish
