Herb Pasta And Chick-Peas
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- 1 can (28 oz/796 mL) diced tomatoes Safeway 1 lb For $1.29 thru 02/09
- 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
- 2 cups raw ditali pasta
- 2 cups mushroom
- Just follow our 3 simple steps
- Cook 1 minced garlic clove and 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms in 1 Tbsp.
- olive oil for 5 minutes.
- Add 1 can (28 oz/796 mL) diced tomatoes, 1 tsp.
- each dried basil and oregano and 1 can (19 oz//540 mL) drained and rinsed chickpeas.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
- Cook 2 cups ditali pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Toss with vegetable mixture and top with 1/4 cup each Kraft Grated Parmesan and chopped fresh Italian parsley.
