Burrata with Fresh Figs and Crispy Bread

  1. In a small saucepan, add balsamic vinegar.
  2. Heat over low, stirring occasionally, until thick and reduced by at at least 2/3.
  3. The vinegar should easily coat the back of a spoon.
  4. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  6. Brush bread with olive oil on both sides and season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Place bread in the oven to toast, about 810 minutes (flip after 5 minutes).
  8. Divide burrata between bowls.
  9. Distribute figs evenly and drizzle with reduced balsamic vinegar.
  10. Garnish with fresh thyme.
  11. Serve with crispy bread and enjoy immediately!
