Burrata with Fresh Figs and Crispy Bread
- 1- 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 4 slices Artisan Bread Of Choice
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- Salt And Black Pepper
- 5 ounces, weight Fresh Burrata Ball, Cut In Half
- 5 Fresh Figs, Cut In Half
- Fresh Thyme, For Garnish
- In a small saucepan, add balsamic vinegar.
- Heat over low, stirring occasionally, until thick and reduced by at at least 2/3.
- The vinegar should easily coat the back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- Brush bread with olive oil on both sides and season with salt and black pepper.
- Place bread in the oven to toast, about 810 minutes (flip after 5 minutes).
- Divide burrata between bowls.
- Distribute figs evenly and drizzle with reduced balsamic vinegar.
- Garnish with fresh thyme.
- Serve with crispy bread and enjoy immediately!
