Cherry and Red Wine Turkey Burgers (Topped with Grilled Peaches)
- 1 pound Lean Ground Turkey
- 1/2 cups Panko Bread Crumbs
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Cinnamon Basil, Chopped
- 1/4 cups Red Onion, Diced
- 1/4 cups Fresh Cherries, Pitted And Halved
- 2 Tablespoons Red Table Wine
- 1 Peach, Pitted And Halved
- Combine turkey, bread crumbs, basil, onion, cherries and wine in a medium sized mixing bowl.
- Mix to incorporate your burger add-ins somewhat evenly, and form it into four evenly sized patties.
- Grill over medium heat for 20-25 minutes or until juices run clear.
- Pit and halve the peach.
- Grill the peach flesh side down, also over medium heat for about five minutes.
- Slice peach with a serrated knife, and top each burger with a thick slice of peach.
