Carrot-Peppermint Stomach Soother

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine all of the ingredients and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover loosely, and simmer until the carrots are very tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. If you're using a tea bag, discard it now.
  4. Blend or process the mixture until it is very smooth.
  5. Sip warm.
  6. If the weather is damp: Stir in a pinch of ground ginger before blending.
  7. If the weather is dry: Stir in a teaspoon of lemon juice before blending.
