Oven Baked Drumettes and Onions
- 10 wings Chicken drumettes
- 2 onions Onion (If you can, get spring new harvest onions, which are sweeter)
- 1 clove Garlic (grated)
- 1 block Ginger (grated)
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sake, Oyster Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 dash Pepper
- Cut the onion into fourths (Leave the slices connected at the bottoms of each wedge so they're easier to handle, as shown in the picture).
- Preheat your oven to 400F (200C).
- In a plastic bag, add in all the wings and the seasoning ingredients marked A and massage well.
- Add in the onions from Step 1 as well.
- Seal the bag and let it sit for 30 minutes.
- On a baking tray lightly greased with oil, arrange the contents of the bag.
- Bake the drumettes at 400F (200C) for 20~25 minutes.
- Then coat the tops of the wings and onions with the leftover sauce and bake for another 5 minutes.
