Baked Tomatoes (Tomates A La Provencale) Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cut the tomatoes horizontally and remove core.
  3. Place cut-side up in a large, rectangular baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle on the salt, parsley, thyme, and garlic.
  5. Pour on the extra virgin olive oil proportionately.
  6. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake, uncovered, for about 30 min.
