Mulled Raspberry Tea
- 1 cup frozen raspberries, slightly thawed
- 2 cups brewed tea (I use decaf)
- 2 cups cranberry-raspberry juice
- 1 cup lemonade (store bought or homemade)
- 14 cup water
- 3 allspice berries
- sugar (optional) or honey (optional)
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- fresh raspberry (or frozen) (optional)
- In a 2- or 3-quart saucepan lightly mash raspberries with potato masher or fork.
- Stir in the brewed tea, cranberry-raspberry juice, lemonade, water, and allspice.
- Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
- Simmer, uncovered, for about 10 minutes.
- Strain and discard the fruit pulp and spices.
- Ladle the tea into heat-proof glass mugs or cups.
- Sweeten with sugar or honey, if desired.
- Serve with lemon slices and additional raspberries, if you like.
- Enjoy!
