Punch Bowl Cake

  1. Prepare cake mix per directions.
  2. Bake in 3 (9-inch) layer pans (layers will be thinner).
  3. Set aside to cool.
  4. Mix pudding according to directions.
  5. Refrigerate to set.
  6. Using 1/3 of each of the ingredients in order begin to layer them in 1 large glass punch bowl, starting with the cake:
  7. 1 (9-inch) cake (broken into pieces), 1/3 cherry pie filling, 1/3 fruit cocktail, 1/3 pineapple, 1/3 topping and 1/3 coconut.
  8. Repeat 2 more times.
  9. Refrigerate until served.
  10. Serves 35.
