Clay Pot Mezetti

  1. Soak clay cooking pot and lid in warm water for 15 minutes. Place ground beef, green pepper, onion, celery and garlic in pot. Cover with water-soaked lid.
  2. Cook on High in microwave for 6 minutes.
  3. Drain off excess liquid.
  4. Sprinkle noodles on meat mixture.
  5. Stir together in a bowl the chili powder, paprika, salt, tomato soup, mushroom soup, mushrooms and water.
  6. Pour mixture over meat and noodles.
  7. Re-cover and microwave on High for 10 minutes, then on 50% power for 15 to 18 minutes or until noodles are cooked.
  8. Sprinkle cheese on top and cover.
  9. Let stand for 5 minutes.
