Warm Grilled Tuna Salad
- 40 each Tuna steaks (4 oz. each) Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
- 2-1/2 qt. KRAFT Signature Sun Dried Tomato Oregano Dressing
- 20 each Vidalia onions, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices Safeway 1 lb For $1.49 thru 02/09
- 1-1/4 cups olive oil
- 5 gal. mixed salad greens
- 20 each tomatoes, each cut into 8 wedges
- 1-1/4 qt. Rustic-Style Cheese Spread
- Pour dressing over tuna; cover.
- Marinate in refrigerator 1 hour.
- Cook onion in hot oil in skillet until caramelized, stirring occasionally.
- Keep warm until ready to use.
- Remove tuna from marinade; set aside.
- Pour reserved marinade into saucepan.
- Bring to boil; boil 3 minutes.
- Grill tuna for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until tuna is tender to the touch (155F).
- For each serving: Place 2 cups greens on serving plate.
- Cut 1 tuna steak into slices; arrange in center of plate.
- Surround with 4 tomato wedges.
- Top with 1/4 cup of the caramelized onion and 2 Tbsp.
- of the Rustic Style Cheese Spread.
- Drizzle with 3 Tbsp.
- of the boiled marinade.
