Chef Black Rayne's Curry Mac & Cheese (from box)
- 1 box of mac and cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1 dash chili powder
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp blackened seasoning
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- Cook the mac and cheese as stated on the box...
- But under cook the noodles by 2-3 minutes so they can finish cooking in the cream later and only add a splash of milk instead of what the box states.
- Shake the small carton of heavy cream for a minute or two to start the thickening process.
- Add in the curry powder, blackened seasoning, Mac and Cheese powder, and black pepper.
- ( seasonings can be added to your taste)
- Pour in the heavy cream(1-2 cups).
- bring everything back to a boil and then turn down the heat and stir until Thick, Smooth, and Creamy.
- ( or until noodles are done).
- then blend in yogurt.
- Serve on a white plate, lightly dusted with red chili powder, and garnish with parsley for best presentation.
- Prep time is between 15 and 20 minutes depending on noodles and heavy cream thickness wanted.
