Better Cheddar Biscuits
- 2 12 cups baking mix
- 34 cup cold milk
- 4 tablespoons cold butter
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 -1 12 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 14 teaspoon dried parsley
- 18 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 pinch salt
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Put baking mix in large bowl and use a large fork or pastry cutter to incorporate cold butter into mix ( you want pea size balls of butter throughout the mixture.)
- Add cheddar cheese and 1/4 Tsp garlic powder and mix by hand until combined (Being careful not to mush the butter or cheese too much).
- Drop by 1/4 cup portions on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15-17 minutes until light brown.
- Melt 2Tbs butter in the microwave with 1/8 Tsp garlic powder and 1/4 Tsp dried parsley flakes and a pinch of salt and brush onto the cooked biscuits.
