Pepper Steak

  1. Steak can be browned in oil, but I use just a little Pam. Sprinkle steak with paprika and pound to tenderize.
  2. Cut steak in 1-inch squares and brown.
  3. Add onion and bell pepper to steak and cook until onion begins to be transparent.
  4. Add garlic powder, bouillon cube and 1 3/4 cups water.
  5. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Add stewed tomatoes; let mixture come to a boil; mix soya sauce, 1/4 cup water and cornstarch; add to ingredients and cook until thickened.
  7. This can be cooked early and reheated.
  8. Serve over rice.
  9. This recipe will serve 8 people.
