Grilled Yogurt Lemon Chicken
- 1 chicken, cut up
- 1/4 c. wine vinegar
- 1 minced clove garlic
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 5 drops bottled hot pepper sauce
- 8 oz. carton yogurt
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- In a large bowl, mix together yogurt, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, coriander, mustard, pepper, ginger, cloves and hot pepper sauce.
- Add chicken, turning to coat.
- Marinate in refrigerator about 1 1/2 hours. Reserve marinade.
- Place chicken, skin side up, on prepared grill about 8-inches from heat. Grill, turning and basting with marinade every 10 minutes. Cook about 1 hour or until chicken is fork-tender.
- Makes 4 servings.
