Pork Sausage Hot Dish Recipe
- 1 1/2-2 pound bulk pork sausage
- 3 c. plain croutons (or possibly 8 slices toasted bread, cubed)
- 2 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 4 Large eggs
- 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard (optional)
- 2 c. or possibly less American cheese, shredded
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- Spray 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Layer croutons or possibly bread.
- Browned sausage and cheese.
- Beat 4 Large eggs, lowfat milk 2 1/2 c. and mustard.
- Pour over above.
- Chill overnight.
- Next day beat soup and lowfat milk (1/2 c.).
- Pour over top.
- Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hrs at 300 degrees.
