Tradional Pumpkin Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 425F (220C).
  2. In large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients except pastry shell; mix well.
  3. Pour into pastry shell.
  4. Bake 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce oven temp to 350 degrees, continue baking 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
  6. Cool.
  7. Garnish as desired.
  8. Refrigerate leftovers.
