Drunken Cabbage

  1. Serving suggestions: serve this hot or cold, as a side for chicken or pork.
  2. In a large saucepan, cook the bacon over low heat.
  3. Add the onions and sweat for 2 minutes.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and season.
  5. Cook until cabbage is tender, about 30 minutes.
