Cream Cheese Cookies
- 12 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 116 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup Crisco
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 12 cups flour
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- sugar
- Cream together butter, shortening & cream cheese.
- Add sugar, salt, vanilla and egg yolk, mix well.
- Gradually blend in flour and mix well.
- Use 1 teaspoonful of dough and make into a rounded ball then place on greased cookie sheet (or use parchment paper - works a lot better!

- Bake for about 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
- Remove from oven.
- Grease the bottom of a glass with butter and then dip into sugar - use this to flatten out cookies while they are still hot and leave sugar coating on top.
