Tagliatelle a La Hudson - Lemon Cream Pasta
- 2 teaspoons finely shredded lemon peel
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 8 ounces tagliatelle pasta noodles or 8 ounces fettuccine
- 1 cup whipping cream, heated
- 13 lb prosciutto, cut into strips
- 34 cup fresh-grated parmesan cheese
- In a small bow, combine the lemon peel and softened butter; set aside.
- Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water just until tender; drain.
- Transfer the pasta to a warm serving bowl.
- Add the lemon butter and warm cream.
- Toss gently to coat.
- Add the prosciutto.
- Serve pasta sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
