Smoky Turkey Sloppy Joes
- 1 whole Package Ground Turkey (I Used 93% Lean, 1.3 Pounds)
- 1 whole Onion, Chopped
- 3 whole Garlic Cloves, Chopped
- 1 whole Red Bell Pepper, chopped
- 1 pinch Salt And Pepper
- 1 can 14oz Can Tomato Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (you Can Put Less If You Dont Like Heat)
- 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard Powder
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 4 whole Crusty Kaiser Rolls
- In a saute pan sprayed with cooking spray cook the ground turkey for 5 minutes over medium high heat.
- Then add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper and cook an additional 5 minutes.
- Then add the remaining ingredients (except the rolls) and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
- Then serve on kaiser rolls.
