Cherry Coconut Bars Recipe

  1. Cream butter in medium bowl.
  2. Gradually add in 1 c. flour and powdered sugar, beating well.
  3. Press proportionately into a lightly greased 8 inch square baking pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min or possibly till it is lightly browned.
  5. Beat Large eggs in a medium bowl till foamy.
  6. Add in 3/4 c. sugar, the remaining flour, baking pwdr, salt, vanilla, coconut, cherries and pecans; mix well.
  7. Spread proportionately over baked pastry.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
  9. Let cold completely in pan.
  10. Cut into bars.
