Cherry Pie

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. Toss cherries with next 4 ingredients until evenly coated.
  3. Let stand 15 min.
  4. ; stir.
  5. Line 9-inch pie plate with 1 of the crusts as directed on package for 2-crust pie; fill with fruit mixture.
  6. Dot with butter.
  7. Cover with remaining crust; seal and flute edge.
  8. Cut several slits in top crust to permit steam to escape.
  9. Bake 45 to 50 min.
  10. or until juices form bubbles that burst slowly.
  11. Cool.
  12. Serve topped with COOL WHIP.
