- 1 - 2 cups of sugar
- Place rhubarb, strawberries, and 5 cups of water in a large sauce pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
- Stir at your leisure, if youre into that sort of thing.
- Add tea bags and steep for about 5 minutes.
- Strain the whole thing!
- Use your spoon to squish all the liquid out of the mash.
- Be careful!
- That stuff is hot!
- Dilute with water and add sugar to taste.
- I doubled the amount of liquid and added about 1 cup of sugar.
- If you like a stronger taste, add less water.
- Sweeter?
- Add more sugar.
- You get the picture.
- Chill in the fridge until cold.
- Serve over ice and enjoy!
- Over 21 addition: Add a shot of good whiskey to a glass of this to amp it up a bit., This can also be done with just rhubarb if you need to omit the strawberries.
- Same directions.
