Homemade Plain Yogurt
- 1 gallon Milk
- 3/4 cups Dannon Non-Fat Plain Yogurt
- Pour the gallon of milk into a deep stainless steel cooking pot.
- Bring the entire gallon of milk to a boil; watch it closely because it will spill over in no time!
- Remove from the heat and allow it to cool down to room temperature.
- Add the plain non-fat yogurt; mix it very well, cover the pot, and wrap the pot nice and tight with an old bath towel.
- Let it sit overnight on your kitchen counter.
- In the morning, transfer the yogurt into a deep dish, uncovered, and put it in the fridge.
- You can cover it once it is set and cool.
- Let it sit in the fridge for a few hours before you serve it.
