Creamy Apple Dessert Recipe
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 (14 ounce.) can sweetened lowfat milk (don't use evaporated lowfat milk)
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 (21 ounce.) can apple pie filling
- 1/4 c. minced walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In 10 x 6 baking dish, place the butter and heat in oven.
- Remove dish from oven and stir graham cracker crumbs into butter till well mixed.
- Press buttered crumbs with spoon into even layer in bottom of dish.
- In medium bowl, mix together condensed lowfat milk, lowfat sour cream, and lemon juice.
- Spread creamy mix proportionately over crumbs in baking dish.
- Spoon pie filling proportionately over creamy layer.
- Bake 25-30 min or possibly till set.
- Cold.
- In small dish, mix together nuts and cinnamon; sprinkle over pie filling.
- Serve hot or possibly cool.
- Serves 6.
