Canadian Hamburger Pie
- 1 double crust pastry
- 1 1/2 lb. lean hamburger
- 1 small minced onion
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1 Tbsp. steak sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pepper
- 1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 c. beef bouillon
- 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- paprika
- Fit one-half of unbaked pie crust into 9-inch pie pan.
- Cook beef and onion in skillet until meat is brown.
- Add marjoram, steak sauce, salt, pepper, bread crumbs, bouillon and Tabasco sauce.
- Mix well.
- Turn into pastry shell.
- Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
- Top with other pie crust, crimp edges and cut air holes in top.
- Place pie in large baking pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Serves 6.
