Apple Red Chile Chutney Recipe

  1. To prepare the chutney, place apples and chilies in a heavy saucepan with sugar, vinegar, garlic and water.
  2. Bring to boiling over medium heat, lower the heat, partially cover the pan and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 min.
  3. Stir in marjoram and add in pine nuts.
  4. Allow to cold, then chill.
  5. Use within a few days.
