*How to Prepare & Boil Okra*

  1. Discard the ends of the okra, sprinkle with salt and rub the surface to get rid of the bristles (you can also rub it against a chopping board).
  2. Submerge into boiling water for 1-2 minutes, and then leave in a sieve to cool.
  3. Leave the okra in the sieve, not in water.
