Green Tomato Dill Pickles Recipe

  1. Use hard small green tomatoes.
  2. Pack in sterilized jars.
  3. Add in to each qt jar a bulb of garlic, 1 stalk of celery, and 1 green pepper, cut in fourths.
  4. Make a brine of the water and vinegar; add in salt.
  5. Boil with the dill for 5 min.
  6. Pour warm brine over the pickles to within 1/2 inc of top of jar.
  7. Put on cap tightly.
  8. Process in boiling water bath for 15 min.
  9. Makes 6 qts.
