Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Crisps Recipe

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Mix sugars, peanut butter, butter, shortening, egg, baking soda and baking pwdr in 4 qt bowl thoroughly.
  3. Stir in cereal and chocolate chips.
  4. Shape dough slightly by rounded tablespoonfuls; place about 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake till golden brown, 10 to 12 min.
  6. Cold 5 min before removing from cookie sheet.
  7. About 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
  8. BUTTERSCOTCH-PEANUT BUTTER CRISPS: Substitute 1 (6 ounce.)
  9. package butterscotch chips for the semi sweet chocolate chips.
