Sauteed spinach and kale
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 3 clove garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 packages frozen or fresh spinich
- 1 packages frozen or fresh kale
- 1 salt
- 1 black pepper
- 1 garlic powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)
- Heat olive oil and 1 Tbsp.
- butter.
- Sauteed chopped onions and garlic until soft
- Pour spinich and kale into pan and simmer stirring occasionally.
- While simmering add seasonings and 1 Tbsp butter.
- I add the lemon juice once it is done but adding the lemon juice is optional.
