Coconut Almond Macaroons

  1. Crumble almond paste into a bowl; add sugar; mix well.
  2. Beat in egg whites until well blended.
  3. Stir in powdered sugar; then fold in coconut.
  4. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake at 350F about 15 minutes; remove from oven.
  6. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes before removing cookies from pan.
