Good Easy Dessert

  1. Stir boiling water into Jell-O until dissolved.
  2. Drain berries.
  3. Puree berries in blender.
  4. Stir into gelatin along with lemon juice.
  5. Chill until thick as unbeaten egg white.
  6. While mixture chills, cut jelly rolls into 1/4-inch slices.
  7. Line a 2-quart mixing bowl with plastic wrap.
  8. Arrange jelly roll slices close together to line bowl.
  9. Fold whipped cream into thickened strawberry mixture until no streaks of white remain.
  10. Spoon mixture into jelly roll-lined bowl.
  11. Chill until firm, about 3 to 4 hours.
  12. Unmold dessert on serving plate.
  13. Remove plastic wrap. You can substitute an 8 ounce carton of Cool Whip for the whipping cream.
