Barbequed Salmon Recipe
- 1 lb salmon fillet - (to 2)
- 1 bot liquid smoke
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 sm chopped onion
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/8 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- Combine all ingredients, except salmon and liquid smoke, in saucepan and simmer for 10 min.
- Let cold.
- Rub salmon with liquid smoke and let sit till marinate is cold.
- Marinate salmon in cooled sauce for 2 hrs.
- Preheat grill.
- Place salmon on grill skin-side down and baste often.
- Grill for 10 min.
- Brush final coating of marinate on salmon and serve.
