Chicken Paprikash
- 4 chicken breast halves
- 2 medium onions
- 4 Tbsp. paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1 1/2 sticks oleo
- 4 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 pkg. Mueller's Southern style noodle dumplings
- Cut skinless and boneless breasts into cubes.
- Dice onions and saute in 1 stick oleo.
- Then add paprika to onions and mix until all are an orange color.
- Add chicken and salt and pepper to taste.
- Then add enough chicken broth to just cover the chicken. Add 4 bouillon cubes.
- Let simmer about 30 or 40 minutes.
- Stir occasionally.
- When chicken is done, add the sour cream and stir slowly.
- Let simmer for 5 more minutes.
- Cook packaged dumplings in salted water.
- Add to chicken and blend.
- At this time, also stir in another 1/2 stick oleo.
