Almond Joy Cake
- 1 box chocolate pudding cake mix
- 1 1/2 c. canned milk
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 24 large marshmallows
- 14 oz. flaked coconut
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/2 c. chocolate chip
- toasted slivered almonds
- Mix cake as directed.
- Divide in half and bake in 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans for 20 minutes at 350u0b0.
- While cakes are baking, mix 1 cup milk and 1 cup sugar; bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add marshmallows.
- Stir until dissolved and add coconut.
- Pour over cakes.
- Mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup canned milk and margarine.
- Heat to a boil.
- Remove and add chocolate chips.
- Stir until dissolved.
- Sprinkle almonds on cakes, then drizzle chocolate mixture over each cake.
- This cake freezes very well. Very rich but sure is good.
- No calories of course.
