Mexican Goulash
- 2 (28 ounce) cans baked beans (Bush's)
- 2 12 lbs ground beef (we use ground turkey)
- 15 ounces kernel corn, drained
- 15 ounces sweet peas, drained
- 14 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
- 2 -3 tablespoons bottled hot pepper sauce
- Brown the ground meat in a skillet pan until almost cooked through.
- Drain.
- Place the baked beans in a large sauce pan, add the meat and remaining ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Bring to a simmer, stir well, and turn down to low.
- Cover and cook for about 30 mintues until the flavors have a chance to blend together.
- Season to taste.
- Serve with crusty french bread.
- *Season to taste with additional hot sauce if desired.
- **Even better the next day.
