Banana Blaze

  1. In a hot saute pan, spray with pan spray and add butter to pan.
  2. Sear bananas on each side.
  3. Add maple syrup and reduce by half.
  4. Add the raisins, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  5. Add the Cognac and ignite and burn off the alcohol.
  6. Spoon blazed bananas into each serving bowl.
  7. Place a scoop of ice cream on each pile of bananas.
  8. Sprinkle pecans and coconut over each scoop of ice cream.
  9. Spoon remaining sauce on top over each serving.
  10. Place a spoonful of whipped cream on the top of everything and enjoy!
  11. Propane Gas Torch Warning Propane gas torches are highly flammable and should be kept away from heat or flame, and should not be exposed to prolonged sunlight.
  12. Propane gas torches should only be used in well-ventilated areas.
  13. When lighting a propane gas torch, place the torch on a flat, steady surface, facing away from you.
  14. Light the match or lighter and then open the gas valve.
  15. Light the gas jet, and blow out the match.
  16. Always turn off the burner valve to "finger tight" when finished using the torch.
  17. Children should never use a propane gas torch without adult supervision.
