Homemade Apple Sausage

  1. Combine all ingredients in a stand mixer.
  2. Mix for 3 minutes at slow speed scraping sides and beater a couple times to ensure the meat is mixed very well.
  3. Seal with plastic wrap so it is air tight and refrigerate for 24 hours to allow the flavor to blend well.
  4. Using a sausage stuffer, stuff the casing size you prefer.
  5. And tie off into links of approximately 8 inches, less if using breakfast links.
  6. Seal in airtight freezer bags, and freeze for up to 6 months.
