fried fish
- 5 fish filets (flounder, cod, stripped bass)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup corn meal
- 4 tbsp flour
- 4 tbsp old bay seasonings
- 1 enough oil for frying, or use deep fryer or bake at 400 whatever your preferance
- beat egg , buttermilk, and water well
- mix cornmeal, flour and seasonings in separate dish
- dip fish in milk then dry mix, either bake on cookie sheet for 20 min or fry about 3-5 min on each side until golden brown
