Breakfast Casserole
- 16 slices bread, crusts removed
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked
- 8 slices cheese
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire
- 3 c. milk
- dash of Tabasco
- 1 stick butter
- crushed cornflakes
- Put 8 pieces of bread in 9 x 13-inch buttered baking dish. Cover with bacon then cheese slices.
- Cover with other bread. Beat eggs, salt, pepper, mustard, onion, green pepper, Worcestershire sauce, milk and Tabasco together.
- Pour over bread.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, melt butter and pour over top.
- Cover with crushed cornflakes.
- Bake 1 hour at 350u0b0.
- Let stand 10 minutes.
- Serve.
