Cherry Almond Cheese Squares
- 1 envelope Dream Whip Dessert Topping Mix
- 40 graham wafers
- 2 pkg (250 g) each Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
- 3 cups milk
- 2 pkg (4-serving size) each Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 can (19 oz/540 mL) cherry pie filling
- PREPARE dessert topping mix as directed on package.
- Arrange half of the wafers on bottom of 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) pan, cutting to fit if necessary.
- BEAT cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add 1 cup (250 mL) of the milk.
- Combine pudding mix, remaining milk and extract; blend until smooth.
- Add to cream cheese mixture and blend well.
- Fold in dessert topping.
- SPREAD half of the pudding mixture over wafers.
- Arrange remaining wafers on top and top with remaining pudding mixture.
- FREEZE 2 hours.
- Let stand at room temperature 20 minutes before cutting.
- Spoon cherry pie filling over each square.
